There are 13,983,816 possible combinations (or permutations) of 6 numbers between 1 and 49.
The only way you can reduce the odds is to play with more numbers and/or to buy more tickets.
Unfortunately it won't help spending millions to win the jackpot ! The average person just does
not have the money !!!
Lottery Number Combination Templates were developed with the aid of computers using custom written
software to extract 6-number sets from combinations ranging from 7 to 49 numbers, depending on the
amount you want to spend each week.
THE BASICS :
Obviously you cannot play all the different combinations because it would cost too much. However,
if you could devise a way of eliminating most of the combinations without reducing your chances,
it would mean that you could play with less money and still stand a good chance.
THE ODDS :

AN EXAMPLE :
If you decide to play with 7 numbers, the maximum combinations is 7. Let us use the numbers from 1 to 7 as an example. The 7 six number permutations will be :
| Combination 1 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
| Combination 2 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 7 |
| Combination 3 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 6 | 7 |
| Combination 4 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
| Combination 5 | 1 | 2 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
| Combination 6 | 1 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
| Combination 7 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
The template for the above example looks like this : (assuming you chose these 7 numbers : 11, 16, 21, 23, 28, 41, 47)
This is all very well, but we are only playing with 7 numbers and spending (R 3,50 x 7) = R 24,50. If
you choose more numbers, you increase your chances of winning, but you also have to spend more money.
Lottery Number Combination Templates allows you to play a SUBSET of the FULL combination of those numbers.
This reduces the number of winning lines in the set and still allows you to win something.
Let us look at the above example and reduce the number of lines from 7 to 3.
| Line 1 | (Combination 1) | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
| Line 2 | (Combination 4) | 1 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
| Line 3 | (Combination 7) | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
AND YOU ONLY PAY R10.50 INSTEAD OF R24.50! Play around with the above example and you will see what we mean.
Creating a template by hand for a few rows, is quite easy. Doing it for 20 or 30 numbers will take weeks.
Lottery Number Combination Templates were computer generated and tested to eliminate duplicate and
redundant rows, while retaining those rows that guarantee a winning line. Every template distributes
the numbers you pick evenly over the 6 lines and therefore gives each row an equal chance of winning.
The template for the above example looks like this : (assuming you chose these 7 numbers : 11, 16, 21, 23, 28, 41, 47)

Now it doesn't help having a system that improves your chances if you are by nature a person that excels in making the wrong choices. After designing the templates, we started examining the results of past draws to see if there was any 'pattern' evolving from the number combinations.
At first it seemed as if there was no pattern in the numbers that rolled out, but it was only because we were looking at it from the wrong side. Instead of looking at the combinations of numbers that were rolling out, we had to look at the combinations of numbers that were NOT rolling out. Sure enough, eliminating certain unlikely combinations reduced the 13,983,816 combinations to 270 430 combinations.
Here is an example list of the number sets we eliminated to reduce the list :
1 - Following numbers like 5,6,7,8,9,10
2 - 6 odd numbers like 1,3,5,7,9,11
3 - 6 even numbers like 2,4,6,8,10,12
4 - 5 odds and 1 even
5 - 5 evens and 1 odd
6 - 4 odds and 2 even
7 - 4 even and 2 odds
8 - more that 3 numbers on either side of 25
9 - total of winning ball numbers less than 25, etc.
Each type of number set is called a filter. We applied 43 different filters to create the 'Reduced List'. We are not saying that you will never get a combination like 3, 7, 13, 21, 31, 49 (6 uneven numbers), but the percentage chance of that happening (about 1.7%) is so small, it is not worthwhile to include those number sets in your list of possibilities when you make your choice(s).
You would do far better to try number sets with, e.g. 3 odds and 3 evens. About 50% of the 14 million combinations consist of 3 odds and 3 evens!
When you fill in your entry form, are you playing a set of numbers from this list, or are you wasting your money ?
